Amethyst group has operated in Italy since 2022 through a partnership agreement with the San Carlo Regional Hospital at Potenza.
Since 2022, major renovation and investment programme has been conducted by Amethyst, to offer best-in-class radiotherapy treatments to around 650-700 patients each year.
Potenza
The center in Potenza is located at San Carlo Azienda Ospedaliera, the main regional hospital. The hospital is one of the best-performing in Southern Italy, after winning recognitions for this fact. The hospital count 750 beds and around 2000 direct employees.
In Potenza, we run a single Varian Linac and we are able to treat around 650-700 patients per year. We have recently implemented VMAT treatments, which we expect will become the majority of the performed treatments in the next months.
